Q. What is an API Query?
A. An API Query occurs each time you access the Qualified Address API to validate an address. Multiple queries can be used by a single website visitor. For example, if you are validating both a billing and shipping address on a website form, you would query the API twice to validate both addresses. If the customer changes their address and resubmits the form, it would query the API again.

Q. Do you charge overage if I go over my subscription limit?
A. No. We do not charge our customers overage. When 10% of your API Queries are remaining, we will send you an email to let you know that your account is almost depleted. If you do nothing, your credit card will be charged for another batch of queries at the existing subscription level. If you'd like to change your subscription level or cancel your subscription before being rebilled, you can login and update your account information.

Q. Can I pay with a check or purchase order?
A. Because of the nature of this product, we do not accept checks or purchase orders. A credit card must be available for billing.

Q. How does billing work? Does my subscription automatically renew?
A. Your subscription will autorenew each month for monthly subscriptions or each year for annual pre-pay subscriptions until you give us notification that you would like to cancel or we are unable to charge your credit card. If your API Queries are depleated before the end of the month or year, your credit card may be charged early so that you can continue to use the product. Billing can be cancelled by contacting customer support. You must give seven days written notice (via email) prior to your next billing date. Unused hits will not be refunded.

Q. When do my API Queries expire?
A. For the "Subscriptions by Month" your API Queries will expire at the end of the month. For "Subscriptions by Year" your API Queries will expire at the end of the year. Unused queries do not carry over until the next month.

Q. What is the difference between the "Subscription by Month" and the "Subscription by Year"?
With the Subscription by Month you are committing a minimum of X dollars for the upcoming month and we are providing you with X API Queries during that month for these dollars. If you use all these API Queries before the month ends and you have not cancelled your subscription, we will automatically charge your credit card for another block of API Queries so that you can continue to access the API. Your API Queries will be reset monthly, and they will expire at the end of each month. Unused queries are not refunded. If you do not cancel your subscription, your credit card will be charged for a new block of API Queries at the end of each month.

With the Subscription by Year you are committing a minimum of X dollars for the upcoming year and we are providing you with X API Queries during that year for these dollars. If you use all these API Queries before the year ends and you have not cancelled your subscription, we will automatically charge your credit card for another block of API Queries so that you can continue to access the API. Your API Queries will be reset annually, and they will expire at the end of each year. Unused queries are not refunded. If you do not cancel your subscription, your credit card will be charged for a new block of API Queries at the end of each year.

Q. Can I upgrade my subscription?
Yes. Your subscription can be upgraded at any time by logging into your account and updating your subscription information. The changes will not take effect until the current billing cycle ends or the API Queries already purchased are depleated.
